Current iHeart Radio Music Award nominee for “Dance Artist Of The Year” Anabel Englund returns with a new track today (April 30). “Waiting For You” by Anabel Englund & Yotto captures the singer/songwriter’s entrancing sound--oftentimes bright and carefree with her authentic Southern California breeziness, and other times irresistibly alluring with her dark, smoldering touch—bedded by the Finnish producer’s dreamy soundscape. The song will also appear on Englund’s Messing With Magic Deluxe Album which is also available for pre-save today.

Set for release on May 21, the deluxe version of Messing With Magic will highlight five new songs including “Waiting For You,” “Don’t Say Goodbye (I’m Not Ready),” dedicated to her grandmother Cloris Leachman who recently passed away, “Boogie All Night,” a collaboration track with French producer Dombresky and acoustic versions of two of her #1 dance radio hits “Picture Us” and “Underwater.” The original 10-track album—which was described as “smoldering and sultry” by Forbes and “effervescent” by Mixmag features tracks “So Hot” and its MK & Nightlapse remix, “Float,” “See The Sky,” “Warm Disco” with Lee Foss and “Messing With Magic” with Jamie Jones.

About Yotto
Yotto is a producer, label manager, surreal zookeeper, topflight remixer and respectable party starter from Helsinki, Finland. In a six-year career, his tracks have garnered well over 100,000,000 streams on Spotify alone. He’s remixed the likes of Coldplay, Diplo, Gorillaz and Rufus du Sol, and he's received support from a wide variety of tastemakers including six Essential New Tunes from Pete Tong and three Hottest Records from Annie Mac. Yotto's latest project, his own label Odd One Out, has quickly ingrained itself in the dance music world as a unique home for both established and new artists alike through its tight, dedicated attention to A&R, artwork and design.

Anabel Englund’s sound is entrancing in its dichotomy; bright and carefree with her authentic Southern California breeziness. Other times she irresistibly alluring with her dark, smoldering touch. The singer-songwriter explores the dynamics of that captivating contrast with her debut album Messing with Magic. The Los Angeles-based artist spent late 2019 and all of 2020 putting out singles from Messing With Magic leading into its formal release in late 2020 on MK’s AREA10 label with Ultra Records. Beyond three #1 US Dance Airplay singles “Underwater” with MK, “So Hot (MK & Nightlapse Remix)” and “Picture Us,” the album highlights a variety of dance floor friendly tracks and heartfelt compositions including singles like “Warm Disco” with Lee Foss and “See the Sky.”
Englund has performed around the world at iconic festivals like Glastonbury, Coachella, Bestival, III Points and CRSSD, as well as venues like London’s O2 Academy, Ushuaïa Ibiza and the FriendShip music cruise. During the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic while the world was on lockdown, Anabel took the opportunity to promote her music by sharpening her DJ skills and acoustic performance to perform a variety of live streams including Mixmag Lab Home Edition, EDC Orlando Virtual Rave-A-Thon, Higher Ground with Diplo, SIRIUSXM’s BPM’s Empowered Festival, Factory 93 and Desert Hearts among others. She is also recognized for her eccentric, bold style and has performed at major cultural events like Paris, London and Milan Fashion Weeks. In 2012, Englund stepped into the house scene, bringing her unique sultry, slow-burn voice to Pleasure State’s “Electricity” (her group project with Lee Foss and MK). She further cemented her arrival by following with “Reverse Skydiving” with Lee Foss and Jamie Jones’ collaborative project Hot Natured the following year. She has released music on Hot Creation, Defected and Desert Hearts. There are a select few voices of house music that have paved their own pathway to legendary.
